Grill It Yourself is gearing up for our 2nd annual “Live to Grill. Grilling for Life” Charity Grill-Off, taking place on Sunday November 18th 2007. This year we are trying to raise canned food and items to benefit The Soup Kitchen and Grace United Church’s new Grace Community Center, to be located in the old 56,000 sq. ft.Winn- Dixie plaza on Hancock Bridge Parkway. The Grace Community Center mission is to help those that are poor and marginalized. Whether through their “Meals on Wheels” program that provides the area’s homebound a source for hot meals, or the before and after school programs for the area’s youth, or especially their Food Bank, which will help with all those who need a place to come, eat and hear the loving words of Christ. Grace United Church also has hopes of offering GED and literacy programs, along with some basic training for jobs in the computer, mechanical, and other vocations through the Community Center. The Grace Community Center is a much needed organization in our community.

Last year’s GIY “Live to Grill. Grilling for Life” Charity Grill-Off , with only 3 months from conception to completion, brought 17 area residents to compete and over 700 residents joining in the fun and providing the Soup Kitchen with over 15,000 items. Also thanks to all of last year’s sponsors and raffle items, $1,200.00 went directly to the Soup Kitchen.

Grill It Yourself wants to make this the Charity event of the year! More charity, more competitors, more sponsors, more coverage and more donations. We have received conformation from Fox 4 that Jeff Robbins (Fox 4 Risings Weatherman), NBC 2’s Chad Oliver (A.M. Traffic and reporting) and Wink 11’s Kyle Jordan (Weekend Anchor and Reporter) will be on our Judging panel, as well as Cape Coral’s Mayor Eric Feichthaler.

Just like last year, we will need the communities of Lee County to make this a success.  Whether you contribute by becoming a Platinum Level Sponsor, participate as a Competitor, donate raffle and prize items, or do a can food drive at your office, we need your help.

There are many different sponsor levels available. Please decide which level works best for you and your company then contact me and let me know. The sooner we have conformation of your participation, the more benefits you and your company will receive. From news coverage to advertising to logo placements to verbal endorsements to every customer that steps in to Grill It Yourself, we will get your Company’s name not only out to the public but into the community. Platinum Level:  $1,250.00 and above. Sponsorship includes 2- 4’x10” banner with full color logo, 2- 18”x24 cor-plast signs with full color logo, Logo placed prominently in grilling recipe booklet (apprx 500 to give-away to public), Company name prominent on give away tee’s ( apprx. 750 to give away to public), Company mention in all news coverage events (television, radio, newspaper), Company logo and link on our website, Company support mentions throughout the day of event, and verbal endorsements to every customer that steps in to Grill It Yourself

Gold Level: $750.00 and above. Sponsorship includes 1- 4’ x 10’ banner with full color logo, 1- 18”x24 cor-plast signs with full color logo, Logo placed  in grilling recipe booklet (apprx 500 to give-away to public), Company name on give away tee’s ( apprx. 750 to give away to public), Company mention in all news coverage events (television, radio, newspaper), Company logo and link on our website, Company support mentions throughout the day of event, verbal endorsements to every customer that steps in to Grill It Yourself.

Silver Level: $500.00 and above. Sponsorship includes 2- 18”x24 cor-plast signs with full color logo, Logo placed in grilling recipe booklet (apprx 500 to give-away to public), Company name on give away tee’s (apprx. 750 to give away to public), Company logo and link on our website, Company support mentions throughout the day of event, verbal endorsements to every customer that steps in to Grill It Yourself.

Bronze Level: $350.00 and above. Will be considered a team sponsor. Company name on the back of Grill Teams Tee’s, 1- 18”x24 cor-plast signs with full color logo placed at Grill Teams Station, Logo placed in grilling recipe booklet (apprx 500 to give-away to public), Company name on give away tee’s (apprx. 750 to give away to public), Company support mentions throughout the day of event, verbal endorsements to every customer that steps in to Grill It Yourself. Not to mention bragging rights if your team wins.
